This newsletter was originally supposed to go out last week, with a zippy take on HLTH23. Instead, I decided to give myself the grace to breathe and reflect after the horrific terrorist attacks of October 7th and the ongoing violence in Israel and Gaza.

This type of tragedy and the relentless news cycle around it can take a toll on mental health. Please take the time you need to get support and feel better, whether that is through friends and family, resources like EAPs and clinical networks, donating and advocating, or something else.
